Davor Davidović (Mr, PhD) is a research associate at the Ruđer Bošković Institute. He obtained his PhD in 2014 from the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Computing at the University of Zagreb. His research interests are in parallel and distributed computing, with the emphasis on the grid and cloud computing, hybrid and GPU programming, eigenvalue problems, and numerical analysis. In his career, he was actively involved in more than 12 international research projects focusing on distributed computing, high-performance computing, hybrid computing architectures, and the development of advanced, scalable numerical linear algebra algorithms. The most notable are the three EU FP7 projects: EGEE-III, SEE-GRID-SCI, and SCI-BUS, two COST Actions IC0805 ComplexHPC and IC1305 NESUS, and 3 H2020 projects EGI-Engage (participating as a task leader), Indigo-Datacloud and SESAME-Net. Currently, he is working on the two H2020 projects EOSC-Hub as a coordinator of task DARIAH Thematic Service and EUROCC and is a principal investigator on the projects HybridScale, of the Croatian Science Foundation – programme Installation Research Project. He has published 29 original scientific papers in international journals (6 in Q1) and conference proceedings (full-papers).
