Saša Ceci was born on January 3, 1973 in Zagreb. He finished primary school in Velika Gorica, and then enrolled in the Nikola Tesla high school in Zagreb. After finishing his physics studies at the Faculty of Science in Zagreb, and serving his military service he was offered a job at the Ruđer Bošković Institute, where he still works as a senior research associate. He explores the hidden world of subatomic particles that love to socialise. He is married and has two (now quite large) children. Since 2010, he has been writing the popular science blog Blesimetar, posts from which he collects every now and then in a book of the same name. Since 2011 he has been one of the organisers of the Zagreb’s Skeptics in the pub, and since 2013 he has been one of the authors and hosts of the scientific show HRT Treći element. Saša really likes science, especially physics, so he promotes it everywhere.
