This year’s conference will be a virtual event since the COVID-19 situation has not been resolved yet.
The international conference PUBMET2021: THE 8 th CONFERENCE ON SCHOLARLY PUBLISHING AND COMMUNICATION IN THE CONTEXT OF OPEN SCIENCE will be held on 15-17 September 2021.
PUBMET2021 is organised by the University of Zadar, Croatian Association for Scholarly Communication, the University of Zagreb and Ruđer Bošković Institute in Zagreb. By supporting the conference, sponsors will have the opportunity to present their products to a wide audience, from researchers, university professors, publishers, editors, librarians, information and communication experts to policymakers. The focus of the conference is scholarly communication (publishing as the most visible channel) and metrics. This year’s conference topics will focus on:

• Statistics for authors and editors
• Media training for scientists
All themes will be presented by invited speakers, shorter presentations by registered speakers, workshops, poster session and in a panel discussion.
PUBMET2021 offers sponsorship opportunities at four different levels: Platinum (1000 € or more), Gold (800 € or more), Silver (600 € or more) and Bronze (400 € or more). Any other type of support you find more appropriate to your promotional strategy can, of course, be discussed with the Organizing Committee.
The last year’s virtual PUBMET2020 conference was very successful and attracted almost 500 participants from over 25 countries (including Austria, Belgium, Brazil, Croatia, Czech Republic, Germany, Finland, France, Israel, Italy, India, Lithuania, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Serbia, Slovenia, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey, UK and USA).
