Dr. Tomislav Ivanjko is an assistant professor at the Department of Information and Communication Sciences, Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, University of Zagreb. He teaches courses and conducts research on knowledge organization, information science and information technology. He is interested in exploring the impact of new technologies on the public and private processes within the society in general, with specific emphasis on the impact of technology on heritage institutions in the context of knowledge organization. His special fields of interest are aimed at theoretical and academic aspects of the impact of disruptive technologies in the field, with special focus on the use of Linked data, crowdsourcing and gamification within the Information Sciences domain.
