Trust and trustworthiness: communication in an age of Covid

Session 7 – Scholarly communication in the times of Covid19
17 September 2021
14:00-16:00

How have people chosen what to trust during the pandemic, and how has that affected their behaviour? How can communicators signal trustworthiness and what does that mean for scientists and science journalists? And what about the scientific publishing system? Alex will present data that was collected from 10 countries around the world during the early months of the pandemic, and start a discussion on what this means for all of us in the fields of science and of communication. A talk to stimulate the panel discussion!
